One of the aims of AGRANA's human resources policy is to ensure a working environment which is characterised by equal treatment, motivation, the possibility to develop within the group, and the ability to discuss issues with all other personnel irrespective of hierarchies.
Conduct within the company and vis-à-vis our stakeholders which is within the law, responsible and respectful is particularly important in this context. In order to clarify this, the major, group-wide, principles of good conduct have been summarised in AGRANA's Code of Conduct. This code was prepared on the basis of recognised standards such as the United Nation's International Bill of Human Rights (IBHR) and the convention of the International Labour Organisation.
AGRANA's Code of Conduct contains stipulations on
- Complying with the law
- Prohibition of discrimination and mobbing
- Remuneration and fringe benefits
- Working hours
- Prohibition of child labour
- Prohibition of forced labour
- Freedom of assembly and collective wage agreement negotiations
- Occupational health and safety Environment
AGRANA commits to ensure that this code of conduct is respected at all of its facilities by all of its personnel. Similarly, AGRANA expects its suppliers and business partners to also act in line with the requirements laid down in this code.
